my stay was nice

I enjoyed my stay but there was a couple of things that could be better such as the TV in the livingroom did not work and the cd player was broken and the frig was to small and the freezer was full of ice to the point that I could only get a couple of things in there.

Thank you for taking the time to review Fraser Crossing 3623. We have fixed the TV (was on the wrong input) and the DVD is working properly. We have also defrosted the freezer so it has more room now. Please come back and stay with us again soon.
Another holiday in Winter Park

Fraser crossing 3623 is the perfect location for skiing trip. In less than 5 minutes of leaving the apartment you can be on the ski lift being wisked to the top of the mountain. The apartment is fully equiped for a short visit or a longer one. ( would have been nice to have a bed linen change once a week ) It is great to have a locker to keep your skis in and also a heated garage to keep the snow off the car. The apartment is well situated at the base of Winter Park and the new village has several eating places.
March 13 was a GREAT day

We were able to check in early @ 9:30. the room was maybe 200 feet from the lift. The weather could not have been better clear blue skies,zero wind even on top of the mountain, lift lines were short,snow condition were very good. The room itself was clean and spacious for 6 people, the bath room facilites were very nice, and the balcony provided a terrific view. I will come back and recomend other they stay here. Only two minor complaints. 1. The bathtub drain would not seal so the bathtub would not fill beyond 4 inches of water. 2. The community hot tub water was cloudy and not very hot (less than 101' I would say estimate) and when there were several bodies in the water the temperature dropped even faster. We stayed only one night so I did not call guest services, if we planned on a multiple night stay I would have called.
Relaxing Stay

The communication with the Winter Park Lodging Company was great. They kept me informed as the trip got closer and were always accessible if I had any questions. They were very friendly and helpful and it was great to be able to talk to someone live instead of sitting on hold and going through a ton of options to get to a live person. They always answered the phone within a minute or two and were happy to help. Our room was very clean and nicely appointed with a GREAT tub which was much appreciated after a long day of skiing. The only downside is that the unit was at the very end of the hall opposite the elevators so it was a long walk after you came up to the floor, however, not having to carry our equipment up and down the hallways (because of hte use of the ski lockers) made the long walk much easier on us. Being on the top floor was a plus because there were no noisy footsteps above you. The balcony was fabulous and really big. There was a nice view that faced the mountains and that was a really pretty sunset each night. Because the room faced the inside of the courtyard where the hot tub was, it could get a little noisy between 5-11 but the hot tub was shut off at 11:00 every evening so I was always able to fall asleep. The bed was very comfortable which was also a plus since last year we stayed at a different resort and the bed made the stay pretty miserable. Our favorite part of the trip was the easy walk back and forth to the skiing; our least favorite part was the leak in our tub with put it out of commission for two days. The Lodging Company did report it quickly, but because it was a private unit, they had to wait for the contracted plumber to make their way up to us. I would HIGHLY recommend this unit for a couple. Might be too small for more then 2 people though.
Perfect Location

The condo was perfectly located for the base of Winter Park. The heated garage and the ski locker were perfect. No lugging ski gear around and no scrapping the car when we wanted to go further afield. The condo had everything necessary for a great break. The service from Winter Park Lodging Company was excellent. We had a small problem which was quickly sorted out. Winter Park is a great place to ski. Even though we have been several times we are still finding new runs to ski.
